Forgive Me The Pun
It seems that Ruffia Mighty Ruffia is not contending merely with a lack of chicken, a dearth of (very expensive) eggs and troubles with fish, but also shortages of petrol. There was a photo up on Twitter (none of that "X" nonsense here) that depicted cars in a region of Moscow queueing up for petrol, as it had become scarce. Of course - obviously!- I cannot find said photo and I'm not going to trawl through thousands of posts to do so. Therefore have a metaphorical image. Art!

There were severe shortages of fuel back in the autumn in Sovdepia, because they had to guarantee that agriculture could bring the harvest in, so the farms and farmers got first dibs at petrol NOTE CORRECT NAME FOR THE FUEL. I could yark on about this for another 7,000 words -
