A title I claim for myself, as my job involves nothing but phone calls from members of the public, many of whom are not overly-familiar with the English language. I have variously astonished and amused a couple of Eastern Europeans with 'goodbye' in their own language.
This is the complete opposite of what I was doing a year ago at Footasylum, which was a customer service job completely without phone contact. O my, how that angered people! Customers would e-mail or Whatsapp us with their phone numbers and tell us to call them, pronto.
