I know, I know, it distinctly resembles Elvish script from Ol' Tolky's legendarium, doesn't it? It's pronounced 'Retrospectiuli" in case you were wondering. Art!

You might be forgiven for thinking this is an Englishman being excessively patriotic; no, it's the national flag of Georgia. If you see chaps fighting with the Ukrainians and wearing this patch on their uniforms, you now know where they're coming from. As part of the Sinister Union, Georgia was renowned for it's wines and indeed whilst they suffered under the boot of the Ottomans, grapevines and wine-making were considered a patriotic rebuff of the conquerors, who didn't consume alcohol. If you ever encounter a person whose surname ends in "-adze" then congratulations! they're Georgian.
