Miami Dolphins

You Betcha*!
First, however, we have to deceive, divert and distract the ever-vigilant hamsters working for Facebook.  They work in shifts, you see, so there's never a moment they aren't watching you - less "Big Brother", more "Small Rodent".
So, with a minimum of mummery:
Behold the bun
I admit this might not be the most thrilling blog photograph ever, but that's only because you can't taste a photograph**.  This is scrambled egg made with butter instead of milk, and Abi's Mystery Mixture instead of salt and pepper.
Verdict?  Delicious!  And also gone.  They lasted about one hundred and twenty seconds.

Conrad's Mind Works In Peculiar Ways
That's when it works at all.  I have found the mysterious acronym "GOOHWYD" written at the top of a page and cannot understand what I meant.
If this were from several months ago, or years, I could be excused, but this is only a few days old.  "HWYD" might be "Heaven When You Die", might it not?  "GOO" might be "George Orwell's Obituary", might it not? "OHW" might be "On Heaven's Winds", might it not?
Could it be the title of a book or film?  A comic?  A CD?
This will annoy me until I find out what Oscar*** meant.
Acronyms are dull.  Have a photo of a steam hammer instead.
 - and Another Thing -
You may remember Conrad fondly recalling "The Wolf Of Kabul" and his faithful follower Chung, who wielded "Clicky Ba" to lethal effect.
Conrad had the impression that Chung had appeared as faithful follower to another noble British warrior, but one who was set in the present day and flitted from hither to yon in a helicopter-cum-autogyro that bristled with guns.  Can I remember who this was?  No.  Can I remember the name of the strip?  No! Can I even remember which comic or annual it was in?  NO!
Emphatically NOT this comic!
All I can remember is that the protagonists called themselves "The Enemies Of Britain".      Quite impressive, that, knowing you've got people out there who hate you so much they club together to buy tanks and submarines and uniforms, and proudly label them with "The Enemies Of Britain".
Ah, the good old Seventies.  Like the Sixties but with a bit more common sense.

Miami Dolphins
I am cheating a bit here as you can only see a single dolphin, but as they are gregarious creatures you can bet there are several just under the waves, present but invisible:
Dolphin foreground, Miami background
I say, looking into this a bit further, did you know that there is an American football team called - "The Miami Dolphins"?
     Who knew^!

"Wolfcop"
Still riffing on werewolves, Conrad recalls that there was a television series about a police unit composed of werewolves.  Can't recall the title and a quick Google reveals nothing so it was probably rubbish.  Which has nothing to do with:
 - but with an equally strong grasp of the judicial system, one hopes ...
"Dirty Harry - Only Hairier!" yells the tagline.  Conrad can see the studio suits rejecting the original title "Dirty Hairy"^^, on the grounds that it sounds more like a porn film than a horror one. "Here comes the Fuzz" is an alternate title, but that sounds like it was created for a British audience.

Who's Making That Awful Racket!
Edna, of course.  Conrad leaves the door to the Upstair Lair ajar, so he heard what sounded like a battle in a bin of bottles.  Upon investigation it happened to be:
Edna in the killing field
Edna, killing an empty plastic bottle and ripping it apart, because apparently this hatred of plastic has been bred into the Border Terrier over centuries, and here's more evidence:
"This lid is survived by a tub and a plastic insert.  A service will be held tomorrow."
     Amen.

Pigs In Wigs
Truly all human life, and animal too, is on the internet.  I just Googled this as a random phrase and - Hay Pesto! - scads of pictures.
Smoked Bacon
Finally
You think I jest about the hamsters?  Behold!
Hamsters - RUNNING EVERYTHING!

* Is this argot American enough?  I do want to get it right.
** You could, practically, but it would merely taste of paper and film.  Quite horrid.
*** Conrad's mind.  Yes, his mind has a name of it's own.
^ I did.  But you can't prove it and I will deny it in court.
^^ I don't know if this was the original title, but I can dream, can't I?
