If you are unaware of this phrase's origins, THEN THE EXIT DOOR IS THAT WAY!
Less combatively, it's a quote from Gully Foyle, the anti-hero at the centre of "The Stars My Destination/Tiger! Tiger!" by Alfred Bester, which is unarguably one of sci-fi's greatest classics (even if it is "The Count Of Monte Cristo" with the serial numbers filed off). It popped up in my head the way words and phrases do, hence today's title. Art!
