ANYWAY the stew is my usual Sunday afternoon creation, this one made a little more Ukrainian by including allspice, bay leaves and paprika, and a ton of grated cabbage. Not sure if Ukrainians use aubergine much in their stews, but I had a cheap remaindered one from the Co-Op that needed using or losing.
Once the stew is doone, I may u - sorry, 'done', double vowels being over-used - I may use the big pan to cook up another Ginger Pudding. Without allowing water to seep into it this time. The last one kept really well in the fridge. Art!
In keeping with the theme of cooking. Am I right?
