I Am Back From Foreign Lands

Yorkshire, That Is

The countryside around Sheffield, to be more exact, and Dungworth to be precise.  This is a small village centred along a main road, surrounded by farms, farmland and moors.  If you listen not especially hard, as there is very little traffic, you can hear unusual birdsong.  Everyone knows everyone else and I remember Richard, a long-time local, wryly remarking that I really didn't need to lock everything visible in my car in the boot.  Art!

     Mid-day rush hour in Dungworth.

Now that I've set the scene, allow me to continue with Sunday's sole novel post today, which actually turns out to be a collection of links, thus not that novel but once again, whose blog is it?
