That's How Many Steps I've Managed Today
You see, Conrad looked up the recipe for 'Pashka', which is an Eastern European Easter dessert. This particular recipe required cream cheese, and lots of it; cottage cheese; sour cream; sugar; flaked almonds and dried fruit. Which meant a walk to the Co-Op in Lesser Sodom.
It being Easter Sunday, I checked beforehand that the buses were on their normal Sunday schedule, and they were. Confirmed by seeing one passing by The Mansion. Art!
That was heading for Ashton, and on the way in I saw a couple heading for Rochdale.
What I didn't count on was that the Co-Op and Lidl would both be closed.
Thus, no Pashka. I do, however - that word again! - have a recipe I've looked up for Gingerbread. So that may be on the hob later.
