Not Getting A Lot Done Here

I Came Down Here To Try And Work
Except that the rest of the family are watching "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" and it's a bit distracting, to say the least - a cast of idiots doing stupid things to each other, and who, when faced with making a choice, ALWAYS do the wrong thing.  Stupidly.  Art?

Proof that it's not
(Always Sunny In Philadelphia, that is)
Wow, and that really was Rowdy Roddy Piper.  Clearly, when he gets shot at the end of John Carpenter's shocking expose documentary "They Live", it was only a flesh wound.  Phew!  I have had frequent sleepless nights over that.  Good to see you making a transition into television performances, Roddy.
Okay, moving swiftly along before anyone can analyse the above too closely, let us now introduce <thinks> LITHIUM WAFER BATTERY DESIGN!
Hmmm.  Well, actually let's not bother.  Sounds dull.  Instead have the ZHEN HUA cargo carrier!  Art?

Thus
There you go.  If you want to carry half a dozen giant transporter cranes across the oceans of the world, the Zhen Hua is definitely the way to go.  A bag of potatoes, on the other hand - you probably want to get the bus instead.
Now, I think it's time to put the motley in a coffin and bury it on the beach at low tide!*

BOOJUM! Reviews Things
Surprise, I've seen enough posters and adverts to manage more of our inimitable reviews, and we did film reviews recently enough that you should know what our rules are: there aren't any.**
"I Feel Pretty":  Do you?  Do you indeed, Miss Painfully Generic Blonde on the poster?  I have to say prettiness, just the same as beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.  Personally I always found Annette Peacock to be strikingly attractive, but she was never conceited enough to put herself forward, unlike Miss Painfully Generic Blonde.  This is probably another of those "plain girl discovers she is smoking hot because she is played by a smoking hot actress whose been made up as plain" genre films.

Annette.  Cheekbones you could shave with.
(sigh)***
"Deadpool 2": Ah, now, I'm onboard for this one already.  I liked the first one, because Ol' Deadie is a foul-mouthed killer with few saving graces, unlike some of the other precious Marvel/DC characters who are so straight-faced and strait-laced you imagine someone inserted a poker up their nether fundament.  I look forward to more nihilistic thrills and addresses to camera, and hopefully he does't forget his weapons bag this time.

MEMO: Do not forget!
"Bulletproof": Nice to see Noel Clarke, who acted in the dramamentary 'Doctor Who', has not been typecast.  From the poster this seems to be a police thriller - Art?

Thus
If you remember, he played Mickey, who was a bit of a dunce.  He seems a lot more capable here.  Conrad wonders if they're thinking of doing a crossover with that South Canadian detective, 'Monk' - Art?

Proof I am not raving
I'm not sure what they'd call it if it ever did get made, because there is an obvious title; however, it's already been taken.  Chow Yun Fat take a bow!

He may be bulletproof but I'm sure a whole lot of other people are going to discover they aren't.
And here we will leave it for tonight, because I have to take DD and QT back to their digs in South Manchester, which will take quite an hour, so I'm afraid you're a good 85 words short of the usual total.

What the heck, it's not as if you have to pay to read this, is it?  Later!

*  I'm not sure what will happen, but - it probably won't be pleasant.  Tee hee!
**  Simple.  Straightforward.  Sensible.
***  Hey, if Art can moon about Mara Corday, I can swoon over Annette.
