Good Morning!

Well, It May Be -
As it is 4:37 a.m.  and still pitch black outside, I can't really tell.  The occasional passing car isn't making the characteristic hissing noise that they do when the weather is wet, so at least it's not raining.  This being Greater Manchester* the dryness is only provisional, however.

4:37 a.m.?
Yes, really.  Conrad is up extra-specially early to create a short but still pithy, punchy, prolix, pretentious pile of pop because there won't be a blog tonight.  Oh, and to point out that if 16 of you blaggers bloggers tune in to BOOJUM! then we shall hit 8,000 visitors.

No Blog Tonight!
Right on.  Conrad is going out after work to a gig.
No!  Not a type of horse-drawn carriage.  A concert.  That is, a live performance by musicians. Prime amongst them will be Dream Themes, who claim to be Frank Sidebotham's backing band and who play an assortment of television and film themes.  Hopefully they will play Thunderbirds.  Maybe even Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. Joe 80?  In fact they could have a short set of Gerry Anderson themes alone.

Anyway, my point is that I shall be off to seek sustenance after work, then at the gig, then I shall make my weary way home - hopefully not waking up in Rochdale bus station after having fallen asleep again.
The late great Frank
(A moment's silence, please)

"Norway - Powered By Nature"
I saw this in a Facebook sidebar and it struck my fancy.  After my fancy recovered, I reflected on it.  Norway - long and narrow, with fjords.  Snow, skiing and lutefisk.  Also rather expensive.  But it does have fjords.  Also the films "Orion's Belt" and "Trollhunter", the latter of which has some nice scenes of - er, fjords.  Oh, and "Dead Snow", which is definitely the funniest and scariest Norwegian Nazi zombie film**.
     Conrad - one-sixteenth Norwegian.
A Ford.  Close enough.

Peter Weller - Clever Feller
You are, I hope, familiar with the actor Peter Weller, who is the star of "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension", and also "Robocop", which is easier to type.  Mr Weller gained a Master's Degree in Italian Renaissance art whilst acting in "Star Trek Into Darkness" and directing "Sons of Anarchy", making him kind of a Renaissance man himself.
There you are.  Just thought I'd mention it.
The PROPER Robocop.  None of yer TV or 2014 rubbish!

* Apologies to Dave Kerry, who is Yorkshire for his county
** A niche market, I admit
