Welcome To Rainday

Because It's Certainly Not Sunday

It was miserable yesteryon, too, which is allowable since it was the Thirteenth after all, a day that con only help feel sorry for itself.  The difference is that today Your Humble Scribe doesn't have to travel into Babylon-lite nor Gomorrah-in-the-Irwell, as there are no haircuts or city centre gigs on offer today.

Okay, roll out the usual Sunday click-bait-y illustration, Art, and let's see where it leads.

Hmmmm.  You know, Conrad has noticed that all these bright young things adorning the pulp covers have a great dal of trouble keeping their clothes on.  In most cases one wonders quite how dishabille they would have become if the artist had waited for another thirty seconds to pass; except the newsagents would probably refuse to stock them.

ANYWAY I have no idea what "Woman From Another Planet" is about, though the cover blurb implies lurid salaciousness, or salacious luridness, whichever is more apt.  O - just Googled and apparently it's truly terrible, and cannot be even considered for the So Bad It's Good section of your bookshelf.

     Let the retrospective begin!
