Yes, there is a film called "The Border", just in case you doubted your humble scribe. I have added a parenthetical note because from today, your humble hack is also a dogsitter*. You might also say that Edna is the Border boarder in question. Art?
"I am so despondent. So, so despondent." |
Despondency a short-term state, it seems |
This is not all. O no! Edna is now on a raw food diet, which takes a bit of forward planning. You need to defrost the cubed portions of tripe and meat well before serving them up. Art?
An example |
Well, that's enough Intro for early Sunday afternoon. Let us light the blue touchpaper on the motley's rocket-sled and retire**!
"Stranger Things 2"
Conrad is happy, or as happy as I get. Yes, I have located the second series on ST on the hard drive and am currently watching episode one. Conrad, not being terribly up on, nor interested in, how these things work***, was not aware that Netflix put out the whole series at once, so I don't have to wait nine weeks to reach the conclusion.
A hot time in Hawkins, Indiana |
Validated, Vindicated And Victorious
Perhaps I should add an exclamation mark after that. Except - no, that would be almost Continental in excessiveness. Here at BOOJUM! we limit our exclamation marks for the really important things.
Okay, this one requires a little tangential description, although such is not new here on the blog. Art?
This is the latest issue of Naval and Military Press' booklist, and at only £5 per volume it is highly tempting, I can tell you. What, in another example of the Coincidence Hydra fastening it's teeth in my tush, do we find inside? Art?
Extra-large so you can read all that scrupulous detail |
"At 30:37 while Kelly is talking Crapgame into his gold heist scheme, a jet aircraft can be heard flying low overhead. Since the only operational jets late in the war were German ME262s, it is unlikely that one would be flying low, miles behind enemy lines."
Ha! Literally and metaphorically shot down - flying low miles behind enemy lines is exactly what an Arado 234 would be doing.
It's the little things, isn't it!
Finally -
Because I need to fill in a short article here, here is a picture of a bizarre Sinister-era tank. Art?
A KhTZ 16 Tractor tank |
Which puts us close enough to count for today. I'm certainly not going to even begin another article on Operation Sealion and drive the word count up to over 1,000!
Till later. I'm about to have some lunch and then abandon Edna for as long as 20 minutes to do a bit of essential shopping. Don't tell Wonder Wifey!
* This will get me into trouble later. Wonder Wifey insists it's "dog-parenting"
** Don't worry, it only hits a maximum of 8 G.
*** Did you see what - O you do.
