Late - But Still Great

Well I Like To Think So!
     Thanks to the 32 visitors from yesterday - and no, your humble scribe has no idea why traffic on Tuesday was four times the traffic on Monday.  Mention of jam?
     Anyway, here Conrad is, posting late on a Wednesday thanks to a bit of kitchen curriculum.
     "Tell us, Conrad, tell us of your exploits in the Non-Dangerous Kitchen!" comes a chorus from the gallery.
     First came Christmas Cupcakes.  I need to frost these but only when they are completely cooled, meaning the following photo is Christmas Cupcakes Stage One:

Those five on the right went in for longer hence their deeper tan

Then we have Conrad's attempt at making Limoncello.  Step one is to zip the zest from a couple of lemons, stick it in a bottle of vodka and steep for a week, shaking the bottle daily.

That intense yellow is a photo artefact, actually.

This is Day One.

DANGER!  LOOK OUT! MASSIVE LASER ATTACK!

Okay, be careful, feeble laser attack underway.

Ah me.  Conrad's second photo captures dawn over Manchester rather better than the first. 

Talking of laser attack, one of BOOJUM! mansion's laser-eyed attack cats had a bit of a software glitch -

Consequently Conrad is nursing megawatt lasing damage to his upper torso, but - don't worry!  His alien healing factor healthy lifestyle will see him better in a matter of hours.
