The Execrable British Weather Has Struck Again
It was dry for most of my stroll into Lesser Sodom this morning - yes, I boogied on down there in the ack emma - and I was under the bus shelter by the time the rains began in all seriousness. Then we've had clouds, bright sunshine, a blanket of virulently-grey clouds, torrential rain, hail and now a murky twilight four hours early.

Buses? They need canoes!
Imagine the sheer unmitigated misery of being a Roman legionary from, say, Lusitania (modern-day Portugal), stationed in The Tin Isles. Your leather gear would be green with mould, and your metal kit would all get rusty, and apart from two weeks in the laughable 'summertime' you'd be wet and cold.
