We look backward over the history of BOOJUM!'s past eight years, and once again we need to entice the visitors with an evocative yet mysterious image, so it's back to pulp magazine covers. Art!
Conrad is unsure quite what's going on here. A giant brain able to exist independently of a body? How can it see what's going on without any eyes? Or know where it is? What happens if it runs into a lamp-post? Would passing birds decide it looked tasty and take a peck or two out of it? Really, this picture raises so many questions. Actually I recognise all three of the named authors.
Here an aside. I have just accessed an e-book of "Brain of Venus", whose blurb has it that:
